Elderly & patient care placements follow the same structure — Full Placement J$25,000, Recurring Part-Time J$15,000 — with the identical four-check verification.
And what will she be paid?
Our fee is fixed. Her wage is separate, and agreed directly between you and her. So you are not guessing, here are the going rates in Jamaica in 2026 — the same figures we publish in our rate guides.
Standard

These are guidance bands, not quotes, and not caps — every caregiver sets her own rate. The legal floor is Jamaica’s minimum wage of J$17,000 per 40-hour week (J$425/hr) from July 2026, and room and board cannot substitute for cash wages. Her wage is paid to her, not to CareLink.

Pricing questions
Do caregivers pay anything?+
Never. Joining and placement are 100% free for caregivers. Families pay; caregivers never do.
Is the fee negotiable?+
No. One fee per service, the same for everyone. That's how we keep it fair.
What if you can't find someone?+
We conduct an extensive, genuine search. We'll be honest with you throughout about what's achievable for your role and budget.
Does a cheaper tier mean less vetting?+
Never. Every caregiver clears the identical four checks regardless of tier. The fee reflects the size of the search, not the depth of the vetting.
What does the caregiver's salary cost?+
That's separate from our fee and agreed directly for your role; we'll guide you on realistic market rates for what you need.
