We dispatch a backup.
Our concierge pulls from a vetted standby pool by parish. You get a WhatsApp message with the replacement sitter's profile, ETA, and Police Cert status — within 60 minutes.
If we miss it, your next session is free.
No claim form. We auto-credit your account in JMD for a same-length booking, applied to any future session within 90 days.
Why we can promise this when no one else does
Most Jamaican childcare runs on a single sitter. When she can’t come, parents are stuck. We built the platform from day one to fix that.
- Standby pool in every Kingston Metro neighbourhood. Liguanea, Half Way Tree, Mona, New Kingston, Portmore, Spanish Town — we keep at least three Police-Cert verified sitters on call in each.
- WhatsApp dispatch, not voicemail. The moment we get a cancellation, our concierge fans out a paid short-notice request. Most replacements confirm in under 15 minutes.
- Replacements paid a short-notice premium. Backup sitters get a guaranteed +30% rate, paid by us. Your rate doesn’t change.
- Cancellations tracked, not buried. Sitters who cancel more than twice in 90 days are reviewed. Reliability is a verification standard, same as the JCF Police Cert.

The honest fine print
We wrote this in plain English so you don’t have to read a terms page. Three things to know.
Where the guarantee applies
- Kingston Metro: Kingston and St. Andrew. Full 60-minute match coverage. We aim to extend to Portmore and Spanish Town next as our caregiver pool there grows.
- St. James (Montego Bay): 90-minute target window for Ironshore, Bogue, Coral Gardens, Catherine Hall.
- Other parishes: We respond to every urgent request within 60 minutes and dispatch as quickly as coverage allows. If we cannot place a caregiver, the credit applies.
When the guarantee starts
- When your booking is confirmed at least 4 hours before start time. Same-day urgent bookings have a separate policy.
- When your sitter cancels within 4 hours of start. If she cancels with more notice, we re-match you the standard way and the credit doesn’t apply.
- When your account is in good standing — no unpaid balance.
When it doesn’t apply
- Acts of God or public emergency. Hurricane warnings, island-wide curfew, JCF security events — we’ll still try, but the timer pauses.
- Parent cancellations. If you cancel, the guarantee doesn’t fire. Standard refund policy applies.
- Direct WhatsApp arrangements with sitters. The guarantee only covers bookings confirmed through CareLink. If you arrange directly off-platform, you’re on your own.
