About the role
An elderly gentleman in Treadways, near Linstead, needs a caregiver three days a week. He is recovering from a stroke and needs help with mobility and a special diet. The role covers help with bathing and dressing, preparing his meals, reminding him to take his medication, helping him move safely around the home, and keeping him company through the day. Pay is J$5,000 per day, paid by the family.
Who we’re looking for
- Experience caring for an older adult, ideally after a stroke
- Comfortable helping with bathing and dressing
- Able to prepare meals for a special diet
- Patient and steady when helping someone move around safely
- Reliable for three set days each week
Verification required
- ID checked against you
- A current JCF Police Certificate, or the TAJ receipt while it processes
- Two work references, which we telephone
- An interview with the CareLink team, including a written declaration
